Zukunftsmusik: Zwischen Klima und Klang (DE)
This talk explores sustainability in the music and creative industries. Musicians and artists often act as antennas for social issues – and carry the responsibility to amplify them. The discussion will focus on sustainable production and distribution: How can labels and artists establish more environmentally friendly practices? It will also examine the role of social media and how platforms like Instagram and TikTok shape awareness of sustainable action within the music scene. Positive examples and initiatives from industry players committed to environmental and climate protection will be highlighted. Finally, the panel will discuss future perspectives: What could – or should – a sustainable music industry look like in the years ahead?
