Born in 1995 in Halle (Saale), Yung FSK18 views her artistic work as a synthesis of autobiographical storylines, social critique, and pop-cultural deconstruction. Rooted in the local graffiti and hip-hop scene of her hometown, her lyrics reflect a constellation of challenging everyday scenarios, affective economies, and sexual self-empowerment. Since 2020, she has worked under her current alias – a calculated cipher that intertwines media reception, youth protection logic, and body discourse. Her debut album »18plus« (released on Schmutz Records), singles like »Patrick Swayze« and »Samenraub«, and the EP »Libido« (all released via Audiolith) create a sonic texture that shifts between drill rap, pop, and hip-hop – without being confined to any fixed aesthetic. In an increasingly standardised musical landscape, Yung FSK18 operates as a disruptive force – not through provocation alone, but through the precise assembly of biographical fractures and pop-cultural references.
