»Spill The Tea« with Camila Malenchini

Çaystube invites you to a playful, interactive edition of »Spill The Tea – Truth or Dare«: a performative community ritual guided by the Truth or Dare Wheel of Fortune. Each spin brings moments of suspense, laughter, or reflection – a game of intimacy, courage, and collective presence.
The wheel becomes a choreographic tool, sparking movement, speech, and exchange. With care and humour, the event opens up space for conversations around queerness, gender, and »the long breath« it sometimes takes to keep going.
Together with artist Camila Malenchini, her collaborators, and the audience, the evening unfolds in spontaneous acts of improvisation and truth-telling – a reminder that resilience is built not only through endurance, but also through play, rhythm, and togetherness.
Camila Malenchini is a Berlin-based choreographer, performer, and curator from Argentina. Her interdisciplinary practice spans dance, sculpture, and digital media, exploring queer bodies, decolonial imaginaries, and hybrid identities. Works such as »Wet Eyez« (HAU/Pf Performance Festival) and »The Faun« (Sophiensaele/Tanztage Berlin) reflect her dedication to embodied storytelling and socio-political reflection.
Shaya (he/him) is a Berlin-based Ecuadorian kariwarmi (two-spirit) artist whose practice spans voguing, drag, performance, and nail artistry. As a member of the House of Living Colors, he bridges nightclub and theatre, while advocating for Abya Yala presence in Ballroom and body positivity for BIPoC queer communities.
Inmensidades is a Berlin-based photographer, designer, and editor from Argentina. Her work documents queer and fat embodiment through friendship, eroticism, and dissident aesthetics. She is the founder of the transfeminist publishing project Profundo ediciones and co-founder of Archivo de Culturas Subterráneas.
