The London-based trio Ebbb – composed of producer Lev Ceylan, vocalist Will Rowland, and drummer Scott MacDonald – blends elements of choral music, grindcore, new wave, dream pop, and techno on their debut EP »All At Once« (Ninja Tune), creating a sonic hybrid unlike anything you’ve heard before. There’s no boxing them in – Ebbb thrive on musical plot twists, where sounds explode in unexpected directions. They describe their style as »Brian Wilson meets Death Grips.« Their music thrives on contrasts: at times light and weightless, then suddenly heavy and staggering.
