Dina Summer

Dina Summer is the collaborative project of Jakob Häglsperger – better known as Kalipo, one half of the electro-punk band Frittenbude – and Greek-German DJ and producer duo Local Suicide, consisting of Konstantina Paschalidou Brudi and Maximilian Brudi. In 2022, their debut album »Rimini« delivered just the right dose of retro Italo disco vibes we all needed after the pandemic. But this trio didn’t stop at a one-off hit: they followed up with the seductive EPs »Who Am I« and »Hide & Seek«, and now return with their latest release »Girls Gang« on Iptamenos Discos.
While Dina Summer’s songs grapple with weighty themes – artistic empowerment, human mortality, and feelings of social alienation – they transform them into something bold and uplifting, driven by anthemic new wave and synth-pop energy.
