Canty, a songwriter and visual artist, is one of the most captivating voices in East London’s queer underground scene. On her mixtape »Dim Binge«, she processes autobiographical ruptures – including her MS diagnosis – through electronically infused songs that shift between tenderness and loss of control. With trembling honesty, Canty explores trauma and desire – her voice not trying to please, but waiting to be truly heard.
Her art is both trip and therapy, a dance of resistance against silence. Her sound: art-pop with a DIY attitude. Her language: radically honest, poetically sharp.
Canty’s live performances are fully realised artistic experiences – carefully staged yet intimately open, always seeking connection. After acclaimed appearances at The Great Escape and Simple Things Festival, she now takes the Pop-Kultur stage for the very first time.
